DJ Live Request Form for Your Squarespace Site

I DJ’d a wedding not too long ago, and knowing in advance how hard it is to hear requests, I came up with an easy way for the reception guests to submit requests.

  1. Create a hidden page on your site called “Request”

  2. On the request page, add your title at the top, and insert a form block.

  3. On the form’s “STORAGE”, make sure your email is set up, and you can even connect the form to a Google Drive spreadsheet.

Now that everything is set up for you to take requests
— think about where and when to send people to your page!

  1. Print a little sign with your site’s URL (and you can even add a linked QR code for the attending nerds)

  2. Tell the wedding party several weeks in advance:
“If there are any songs you or your guests want to be played at the wedding, just post them to squareflair.com/request.”

  3. If you’re a professional DJ, also add this link to your email signature, business cards, and proposal docs.

    • If you have multiple intersecting gigs, be sure to create multiple request pages and spreadsheets. Otherwise, you’ll be playing Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, when you should be playing The Righteous Brothers.

      • example: /request-smith, /request-anderson, /request-demmings
